Release log

Every release, in order.

Open a version for its exact changes, acquisition contract, and upgrade boundary. This log is the human history; immutable JSON metadata remains available where it was published.

  1. v1.2.1Machine protocol 3.26 native archives

Identity-safe reuse and verified runtime repair

Repair sharing and identity boundaries without changing the public CLI or rewriting existing SOPack inputs. The measured checkpoint passed hosted contracts and scoped comparisons; the separately identified release commit passed main and six-platform publication gates. Version 1.2.1 is published, not a universal speedup claim.

  2. v1.2.0Machine protocol 3.26 native archives

    Reproducible packs and relocatable libraries

Deliver prompts together with code and static assets, or distribute an immutable compiled library across devices. The compiler now separates frontend, middle-end optimization, linking and backend distribution.

  3. v1.1.0Machine protocol 3.26 native archives

Agent Skills become locked project dependencies

Declare local or Git skills in the workspace-root manifest, pin complete bundles in the lockfile, and reconcile safe, agent-visible copies in .agents/skills. The bundled prompt-squish guide can also be installed independently.

  4. v1.0.4Machine protocol 3.16 native archives

    Project-owned build state

The project now owns the complete build boundary. Products live under artifacts/, disposable caches stay under cache/, and recovery and catalog records stay under metadata/—with no hidden machine-global cache.

  5. v1.0.2Machine protocol 3.16 native archives

    Readable outputs and recoverable cleanup

Build products now appear directly at their declared target paths while hashes, generations, and journals remain private. The new clean command removes project build state and only dependency-cache entries proven invalid.

  6. v1.0.1Machine protocol 3.06 native archives

    Publication boundaries become product contracts

Build outputs now carry typed, project-relative locators instead of exposing publisher storage paths. Raw artifact inspection validates digest and size before any bytes reach stdout.

  7. v1.0.0Machine protocol 2.16 native archives

A project manager for reproducible prompt builds

The first stable release turns loose XML compilation into a Cargo-style project workflow with reproducible dependency resolution, atomic publication, and inspectable build evidence.

  8. v0.3.06 native archives

Libraries provide reuse; entries build the product

Explicit xs:entry build roots are separated from reusable xs:module libraries. xs:expand becomes the single composition operation over prepared, reusable compilation snapshots.

  9. v0.2.0Source tag only

    A namespace-aware XML macro language

The language moves to URI-identified builtins, namespace-qualified immutable macros, explicit value passing, and bounded expansion in a single command-line program.
